Special Needs Adult Program

S.N.A.P.

S.N.A.P stands for Special Needs Adult Program and meets every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm at Rivertree Community Church (3113 Lansing Ave, Jackson, MI). It is a time for individuals with a wide variety of abilities to have a safe place to call their own.

We spend time hanging out with friends, playing games, and then later singing some songs and engaging with a short lesson. There is a snack bar with cheap snacks and drinks. The last Tuesday of every month is party night where we celebrate all of the birthdays from the month.

S.N.A.P. follows the school calendar and meets weekly throughout the school year, taking breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and then meets monthly during the summer months.

Here is a video we created to help us celebrate S.N.A.P. that tells the story and gives an idea of what S.N.A.P. is like. We would love to see you on a Tuesday night!
