DISCPLESHIP STREAM

We want to help each follower of Jesus become a disciple who can and does make other disciples. Our discipleship stream is designed with four elements to help you in that journey: Connect, Headwater, Discipleship Journey, and Life Groups. Explore below for more information about each of these.

Connect

Connect is a regularly scheduled time (usually the first Sunday of the month) after the morning Gatherings to connect with other people. It is a great opportunity for those who are new to Rivertree to meet others and find out more about the church. We will have a variety of activities and also do a brief introduction to who we are, what we do, and the Discipleship Stream.

Headwater

Headwater is a six-week class exploring an introduction to the Christian faith. In addition we dive into who Rivertree is and how we operate. You will also have an opportunity to meet other people who attend Rivertree. Headwater is offered three times a year in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. You can visit our Registration Page to see if there are open registrations for the next round of Headwater.

Discipleship Journey

We want you to become a disciple who can make other disciples! To do this, we have a resource called Discipleship Journey to help you grow. Five days a week you read a chapter of the Bible and answer a few questions. Then one day a week you gather with your Discipleship Huddle. This is simply one or two other people you are learning with. If you want to start a Huddle, grab some books and a friend and dive in! When you start, click below to register and let us know so we can celebrate and support you!

Life Groups

Life Groups support and interact with the intersection of faith and life. They focus on three things: Community, Word, and Prayer. Life Groups meet at a variety of locations and times during the week.

You can find a list of our current Life Groups by downloading the Church Center App on your phone. Once you register you can see all current groups including topics and where they meet.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
