What to Expect at Rivertree

Are you thinking about visiting Rivertree? Great! Rivertree is an exciting place to meet authentic, imperfect people who want to learn about God and worship Him with others, regardless of where you are on your faith journey.

We know that it can be hard to go into an unfamiliar grocery store, much less a church - whether you grew up in a church or you’ve never been before. To help you with some of those first time jitters we have compiled some simple first time info:

Gathering Times

We have two identical Gatherings on Sunday mornings at 9a & 10:30a. Both have the same awesome music and a message. A ministry made just for kids (Kidzone) is available during the 10:30a service.

A few tips for coming to Rivertree:

  • Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing. Many people will be in jeans, t-shirts and hoodies. Some may dress up a bit. The key: be yourself. We want to see whatever is the real, everyday version of you.

  • If you have a bible, you might want to bring it. If not, we’ll get you one. There are bibles available to use, and if you’d like one for home, you can even take one with you. We believe the bible is the Word of God and that reading it will help you become the man or woman God created you to be.

  • There are refreshments available. Help yourself to a cup of coffee or tea and a little bite to eat. No one will be offended if you’re singing with a cookie in your mouth.

  • It’s ok to just take it all in. You won’t be forced to do anything you’re not ready to do. We try our best to make everyone who walks in our doors feel comfortable and welcomed. However, while we want you to come as you are, we hope you don’t stay there. God has good plans for you (Eph. 2:10) and we want to help you discover your purpose and help you to live it out.


We also want you to know we value living and worshipping authentically. Don’t feel like you have to put on a “church face” to come on Sunday mornings. We are imperfect people too. But our God loves all and we are excited to share His love with you!

No matter what your circumstances are, you will be loved here.

You are a child of God, and we’re going to do our best to treat you as such. We welcome you regardless of what your past looks like. We want you to feel at home here. We want to connect with you and live authentically together.
